Anglia Tool Centre, part of the Ridgeons Group Company, is boosting its presence in the East of England with the opening of a new store in Ipswich.

The new 4,500sq ft store at the Quantum Trade Park on Whitehouse Road will be home to the third Anglia Tools Centre store to open in the region, offering trade and the public access to the latest power tools from suppliers including Makita, Dewalt, Bosch, Milwaukee, Festool and Hitachi. The store has created two full-time and one part-time position, and will be under the management of Mike Randall.

Mr Randall said: "We are very excited to open a new store in Whitehouse Road. It's in a prime location which is easily accessible, and we have experts on hand to answer any customer questions. The expansion provides Ridgeons with a real opportunity to bring our premium offering and industrial power tools and accessories to Ipswich."

Anglia Tool Centre is a division of the Ridgeons Group. The family owned business has served the East of England since 1911 and is now one of the largest independent timber and builders merchants in the country, supplying materials for building homes.

The new store will be open Monday to Friday – 8am to 5pm, and Saturdays 8am to 12pm.
