Kent Blaxill appoints new Norwich manager

Published:  22 April, 2015

Richard Poole has joined Kent Blaxill as manager of its Norwich store.

Mr Poole is highly experienced in the sector having spent his career in building supplies, latterly as assistant manager at the Dulux Decorators Centre in Norwich where he worked for 16 years.

He will be in charge of a four-man team at the Norwich store, and will take over from Michael Nicholls who will be managing the company’s new Fakenham branch.

James Park, Kent Blaxill’s decorative manager, said: “Richard has a wealth of experience in the trade and a great working relationship with a lot of customers in the area, and will strengthen our already excellent Norfolk team.”

Commenting on his new role, Mr Poole, said: “The Norwich branch is a high turnover store, but I will be looking to increase trade from my contacts in the business. I will also be looking to promote our designer paints section, which includes Farrow & Ball paints, to retail customers, as well as continuing the great customer service that the established team here provide. I have been pleasantly surprised by how many members of the public already purchase Farrow & Ball from Kent Blaxill.”
