SCA focuses on health and safety training

Published:  17 April, 2015

SCA Timber Supply is continuing to invest in training with management teams attending an Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) training course for Behavioural Safety.

With health and safety paramount to all aspects of SCA’s operations, eight employees from across the company’s three sites are attending the four-part course.

The IOSH accredited qualification is aimed at equipping employees with key tools and techniques to influence the behaviour of the workforce with a view to developing a positive safety culture.

John Griffiths, managing director at SCA Timber Supply, said: “This course supports out focus on health and safety - which remains our top priority. As a business, we are doing everything we can to ensure that we operate in as safe an environment as possible.”
