Two new motivational speakers have been announced for this year's BMF All-Industry Conference.

Stewart Hill, who served in the British Army for 18 years, retiring as a Lieutenant Colonel, provides a rare perspective of leadership in a moving, captivating and commanding presentation.

On 4 July 2009 he was leading 160 men in the largest ever ground battle with the Taliban in some of the fiercest fighting seen by UK forces in Afghanistan. Eight hours after the battle started, medics were struggling to save his life after shrapnel from an IED tore into his brain. He reveals the three key components that have enabled him to deal with the change and build a new life.

Pete Rea is a multi-million pound business owner and the author of 'One Life One Shot'. Life wasn't always as good. He knows what it's like to have no food in the cupboard and no money in his pocket. Complacency and bad decisions led to the collapse of his first business and left him feeling like a failure, thinking success and happiness must be for other people. Over the last decade he has turned his life around. One of his favourite sayings is that "success leaves clues". By sharing these clues he helps people to believe in better by believing in themselves.

BMF managing director John Newcomb said: "Here are two guys who, in very different ways, have come to understand the nature and effects of adversity. In coming face to face with a completely different reality Stewart has discovered the very essence of leadership and what it entails – not only the need to adapt and to reassess, but also to understand personal core skills. While Pete is passionate about helping people to realise their true potential. He connects with people's hearts and well as their heads to make a difference."

The 2015 All-Industry Conference takes place in Malta from 18 to 21 June 2015 at the five-star Westin Dragonara Resort in St Julian's Bay. It will be hosted by Olympic and Commonwealth medal winner and TV presenter, Sharron Davies.
