Attleborough-based Hamilton Acorn, the professional and DIY decorating sundries company has donated over £1,100 to its chosen charity of 2014 – Star Throwers – at a recent presentation.

Star Throwers is a charity that provides support and care for cancer patients and their families.

The money was raised throughout the year via a programme of activities including a sponsored football match, in-house sweetie/tuck box, sweepstakes, a quiz night, raffles and donating in place of sending Christmas cards.

Steven Ho, representing Star Throwers, said: ”A big thank you goes to everyone at Hamilton Acorn for their efforts over the past year. Your contribution really does help to make a huge difference to people in this area.”

Steve Edwards, managing director at Hamilton Acorn, added: ’We are pleased that we have been able to help support Star Throwers as they provide such an amazing service.”

In 2015, Hamilton Acorn is supporting Parkinsons UK.
