F & P has appointed Sophie Twiggs as key accounts manager for the central region.
Ms Twiggs joins the company from Sunderland-based manufacturer Salamander Shower Pumps where she was national account manager for three years and responsible for growing the market share of plastic ended shower pumps within national merchants.
In her new role, Ms Twiggs will work to build customer relationships and grow the merchant distribution network. She will also work on establishing relationships with key account customers, working in close contact with them to ensure all areas of the business – from the trade counter to the administration office – are aligned and running as closely as possible with F & P. In addition, part of Ms Twiggs’ role will be to support the key accounts as they expand their branch networks, while making every effort to ensure F & P are on-hand to support their businesses.
On beginning her new role, Ms Twiggs said: “Having worked for a manufacturer for a number of years, I am very excited to be taking on this new role and responsibilities in the central region. I’m looking forward to working closely with customers and being their first point of contact, as well as looking back in five years’ time and seeing how far we have developed our strategic accounts and the great relationships we have established.”
