Drakes branch celebrates 25 years

Published:  15 October, 2014

Drakes Plumbing Supplies’ Uckfield branch recently celebrated its 25th birthday with a trade open evening.

More than 50 local plumbers and heating engineers attended, and were welcomed by Drakes’ chairman David Aisher and managing director Andy Clark. The evening putting competition raised £32 for the local St Peter and St James Hospice, and a special birthday cake in the shape of a Drakes delivery van was enjoyed by all.

“We are delighted to celebrate 25 years of Drakes’ success in Uckfield, with our key trade customers and supplier partners,” said Mr Clark.

Uckfield’s own branch manager Andy Rummery added: “Our newly refurbished showroom is proving very popular with retail customers and our advertisements in the Sussex Express and on Uckfield FM are paying dividends.”
