SOUTHAMPTON: Software solutions provider and distributor Blue Rock Systems has purchased Nottingham-based IT software company Sense Computers Systems from the Sense Group for £670 000.

The deal will see Blue Rock increases its geographic spread and gives it access to experienced staff, a wider customer base and new software.

George Troullis, Blue Rock's managing director, said: "This is an excellent opportunity for us to expand into the Midlands with an existing, happy client base with a first-class team of engineers and support staff."

Said Michael Blatherwick, managing director of the Sense Group: "Our customers purchased from us because they trusted us to offer excellent ongoing support and we are confident that Blue Rock will deliver that."

Blue Rock covers the whole process of software selection, integration and upgrade. The company's experts consult, specify, cost, install, train and support a client from their initial enquiry through the life of the installation. Its scalable systems work for four to 200 user installations.
