Environmental issues are motivated by money

UK: Householders need greater financial incentives if they are to contribute to the energy efficiency of their homes, according to sustainable building expert, Gordon Miller.

As the founder of whatgreenhome.com, which offers advice about eco homes and sustainable residential developments, he believes that the majority of people are motivated by money, not the environment._

"If people can see that they will save money on their energy bills, and by doing so also reduce their CO2 emissions, they will act."

The website What Green Home provides visitors with independent reviews of eco-friendly homes for sale and to rent at more than 100 developments and private properties in 29 countries worldwide, including the UK.
