Search is on to find Britain's 'Green Voice'

Published:  24 September, 2009

UK: Do you have what it takes to be the green voice of the UK? The Energy Saving Trust wants to find an individual who can speak up for the 'man on the street' on green issues and become Britain's voice on green issues.

The Green Voice of Britain will: hold post for one year, become the independent voice of Great Britain on living in a low carbon way and become a consultant to the Energy Saving Trust

They will be responsible for representing the views of the UK-wide green ambassadors and be expected to attend high profile events throughout the year. In addition, they will act as a media spokesperson and become the voice of the consumer on green issues.

To apply, download the application form and, in no more than 100 words, tell us why you should be the Green Voice of Great Britain. One person will be crowned at a special ministerial event in London on 21 October.
