Ready for expansion.

Global Stone moves for growth

Published:  24 September, 2009

COLCHESTER: Global Stone, the Essex-based supplier of ethically sourced natural stone hard landscaping products has recently moved to a purpose-built £1m sales and distribution site at Little Tey, Colchester.

The four-acre site will allow the business to expand further its fast growing business. Global Stone wholesales stone paving nationwide and has continuously grown to gain a large market share in five years with products from around the world.

Immediate benefits will come from operational efficiencies and providing customers with a single collection point. In addition, there are conference facilities and new sales office accommodation that will enable Global Stone to expand on its busy sales department. A new external product display area soon to be built will assist our stockists in product selection.

Global Stone’s general manager, Shirley Spittal commented: “We are delighted to have relocated to this modern sales and distribution facility and we look forward to inviting our customers to the site within the coming months. We are confident that our customers will benefit from the enhanced levels of service together with the opportunity for them to view our latest range of products.”
