Barratt to build houses in Soho

Published:  17 January, 2013

Barratt Homes is to build new houses, shops and a restaurant in Soho on the site of a derelict Metropolitan Police building. The £54m development is on a site that has been vacant for almost 13 years.

The move comes after ownership of the site was moved from the Homes and Communities Agency to the GLA last year and forms part of the mayor of LondonÕs strategy to release public land for housing development in the capital.
