Graham wins best use of social media at CMA Awards 2012

Plumbers’ merchant Graham has won the award for ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ at the Construction Marketing Awards 2012. Graham picked up the coveted award in recognition of its established online presence, thanks to its informative blog - Channel Graham, in addition to its Facebook and Twitter accounts.

Organised by The Chartered Institute of Marketing Construction Industry Group, (CIMCIG) The Construction Marketing Awards, recognises marketing excellence in the built environment and showcases creativity, innovation and effectiveness in a company’s marketing or business development strategy.

Fighting off stiff competition in its category, Graham was awarded for ‘Best Social Media Campaign’ in a ceremony, held on 6th December 2012 at the Radisson Blu Portman Hotel in London.

“Maintaining relationships with customers at a local level is incredibly important to us,” commented Ian Kenny, Marketing Director at Graham. “As such, we wanted to take full advantage of social media as an additional means of communication and support for our customer base. We wanted to pioneer its use within the plumbers’ merchant sector and with support from our customers and suppliers, we feel it has been a great success and one that we looking forward to building on in the future.”
