Shepherd wins Sainsbury’s Blackpool work

LANCASHIRE: Shepherd Construction has won a contract to build a new £10m 12 500m² Sainsbury's store.
The contract awarded by Muse Developments is part of the first phase of the £220m Talbot Gateway project to regenerate the North East of Blackpool.
The 50-week construction programme starts next week and includes a three-storey building with mezzanine office space and car park.
Eric Wright has already won a £16.5m deal at Talbot Gateway to build new council offices while Tolent is working on a £6.5m car-park refurbishment at the site.
