Pipe Center and Climate Center celebrate excellent customer service

LEAMINGTON SPA: Outstanding customer service has been recognised by Pipe Center and Climate Center at an awards ceremony held this month.
The annual peer-nominated Wow Awards, which took place at the Hinckley Island Hotel as part of the Pipe Center and Climate Center roadshow, celebrate the company's Branch of the Year and Salesperson of the Year.
This year saw a fierce battle for the top spot, with Manchester Trafford Pipe Center and Climate Center named Branch of the Year for surpassing sales targets and achieving a top Net Promoter Score.
The much-lauded Salesperson of the Year award was won by Jim Merrills, who won the admiration of the judges for his impressive year-on-year sales growth and commitment to his customer base.
Each award sees the regional management team make their nominations according to a set of broad criteria, which includes sales targets, customer service and innovation.Three finalists in each category then go through into the main ceremony and winners receive a trophy and a cheque.
"It's such an honour to receive this award and the fact that I have been nominated by my colleagues makes me feel even prouder," said Mr Merrills.
"We base our business proposition on customer service excellence and it's great to see the management team recognising the team for its ongoing efforts to improve customer satisfaction. "It's a team effort though, and this award is also due to the hard work of the branches who deliver and perform on a daily basis."
Dean Fradgley, Pipe Center and Climate Center's managing director said: "Choosing the winners was a really tough job. The branches and the people working in them are all worthy winners in their own right, which is recognised by the fact our Net Promoter Score improves year after year."
