CHEADLE: Wienerberger UK, the provider of wall, roof and landscaping innovations, has appointed Richard Randall as its new Operations Director, as the company looks to consolidate its position as one of the UK’s leading value-driven building innovation providers.

Mr Randall will be responsible for all production in the UK, including engineering, quality, environmental and health and safety matters.

Working alongside Wienerberger’s existing senior operations team, he will lead the company’s continuing drive towards operational excellence, technological leadership and the best possible customer service provision.

He will also sit on the Wienerberger UK holding board.

Mr Randall brings a wealth of experience to the role, having come from an international manufacturing business where he was responsible for UK operations, and, latterly, the implementation of lean manufacturing technologies and systems across Europe.

He also has previous experience in product development and supply chain management processes in a consumer led operations environment, forging a reputation of generating sustained and continuous improvement.

Mr Randall will be based at Wienerberger’s head office in Cheadle, where the company employs 150 people.
