Merchant launches major industry survey

Published:  11 September, 2009

LEAMINGTON SPA: Plumb Center and Parts Center have launched a major survey asking heating engineers and installers what they consider to be the burning issues affecting the industry and, as a reward for completing the survey, they could win the chance to spend time with sporting legend Austin Healey.

The wide-reaching survey includes a whole range of questions about the industry and the challenges of running a business, business buying habits and more general information such as personal interests outside the work environment.

Plumb Center and Parts Center are committed to supporting the industry, which is why they have teamed up with Austin Healey to say a big thank you for taking the time to complete the survey.

Each one that is completed and returned will be entered into a prize draw, with a range of prizes up for grabs, including tickets to see England vs France in the Rugby Six Nations Championship in the company of Mr Healey, plus the winner will get to go behind the scenes and meet the players.

The data collected will be analysed and the findings will be used to help shape the products, services and support Parts Center and Plumb Center provide for their customers in the future.

"As a leading merchant we feel it is vital to talk directly to our customers to understand them better, " said Keith Jones, managing director, Plumb Center and Parts Center. "By finding out what they consider to be the key issues they face, we will be better placed to provide the products and services they need."

The survey will be distributed to heating engineers and installers in September and will also be available in Plumb Center and Parts Center branches.
