Warings lands Portsmouth towers

Published:  20 November, 2012

PORTSMOUTH: Warings is to build a new landmark tower in Portsmouth. The ambitious plan is a further boost for the south coast builder, which has just started work on a £48m contract to deliver three residential tower schemes in neighbouring Southampton.

Designs for the planned Portsmouth tower scheme at the Brunel House site go on show this week in the city, with the aim of starting construction in 2014. It is a mixed-use development that includes a 200-bed hotel and a 600-bed student accommodation block, alongside flats.
