GALLOWAY: Lovell is expected to get a five-year repair deal worth £25m with Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership. Scotland’s second largest housing association is expected to formally award Lovell the contract next month.

Work will start in April 2013 and see Lovell provide responsive repairs for more than 10,200 households as well as refurbishing void properties. The new contract will run for five years with the option of a further two-year extension.

Lovell has been working for Dumfries since autumn 2010 when it stepped-in following the collapse of Connaught taking on 90 staff.
