Retro Expo hosts 100 free retro-fit seminars

Published:  06 September, 2012

BIRMINGHAM: One hundred free seminar sessions offering practical and technical guidance on low carbon retrofits will be taking place at Retro Expo this October. Over three days, 5000 delegates will be able to attend the free sessions involving over 100 high-calibre speakers.

The seminar programme features introductory sessions for those embarking on a retrofit workstream, together with masterclass presentations aimed at more experienced practitioners. To attend these seminars all delegates need to do is pre-register.

"Retrofit is set to become the one boom market in the built environment, especially with the imminent launch of The Green Deal. This seminar programme is a must for anyone wishing to benefit from these business opportunities." commented Dr Peter Rickaby, from Rickaby Thompson Associates who co-chairs the editorial board.

"We have strived to make it as comprehensive, relevant, practical and timely as possible and have secured an exciting line up of speakers. It will be the equivalent to learning ‘The Knowledge' for the retrofit industry! Whether you're new to low carbon retrofits or an old hand, there will be something for everyone and what's more they're free."
