BSS hire service booms

Published:  07 August, 2012

LEICESTER: BSS Industrial reports that its ‘Hire-It’ service is in high demand since the first counters opened in April. BSS is rolling out the second phase of the program.

Hire-It trade counters were initially added to BSS Industrial branches in Newcastle, Manchester, Bristol, Reading and Romford. The second phase will see counters at BSS Leeds, Glasgow and Southampton.

Frank Elkins, managing director, BSS Industrial, said: “Hire-It has been well received due to the fact that it allows us to offer a complete solution. The hire service is backed by the experience and additional product portfolio of TP Hire, providing customers with the product and rental service knowledge which is essential for a first class service.

“Health and safety is a very important aspect of the hire industry and is something we take incredibly seriously. With brand new equipment, PPE recommendations as standard and user guidelines provided to every customer, we’re working to maintain these high standards as Hire-It continues to develop.”

Working in partnership with TP Hire, the tool hire division of parent company Travis Perkins, the BSS Industrial branches offer a range of brand new, top brand equipment including pressing tools, threading machines and welding equipment.
