Wolseley distribution centre closes

LANCASHIRE: Wolseley UK is closing its distribution centre in Buckshaw Village with the loss of 120 jobs.

The company is also outsourcing some of the work currently done in Chorley as a cost saving measure. The 70 staff affected who worked in the Bathstore division are eligible to apply for jobs at the new firm based in Crick, Northamptonshire.
