Transport Manager seminars

Published:  27 July, 2012

TUNBRIDGE WELLS: The Freight Transport Association’s autumn series of Transport Manager seminars that keep delegates up to speed with the latest legislation and enforcement changes start in September.

The seminars will include presentations by the local Traffic Commissioner at each venue. Speaking ahead of the event the Senior Traffic Commissioner Beverley Bell said: “Traffic Commissioners are pleased to have the opportunity to address transport managers directly through the forthcoming FTA seminars.

“Last year, EU regulations gave TCs the power to take action and ensure that people in this position are fully accountable to their professional responsibilities.

“Commissioners welcome every opportunity to advise transport managers about meeting the good repute requirements and to explain how we are committed to ensure there is a level playing field for the profession”.

For dates and venues and to book call the FTA Member Service Centre on 08717 11 22 22 or go to: www.fta.co.uk/keepuptospeed
