STOCKPORT: Building refurbishment and maintenance services firm FT Finley has been appointed to a framework for social housing projects in the North West.

The company, based in Reddish, Stockport, will be eligible for contracts through a four-year planned maintenance framework set up by the Fusion21 procurement consortium.

Fusion21's member outfits manage more than 900,000 properties. The planned maintenance framework in the north west is expected to award contracts worth £320m, including central heating, kitchen, bathroom, window and door installations.

Steve Coe, assistant director at FT Finley, said: “We have considerable experience working on social housing projects alongside other contractors. By working in partnership, we can save Fusion21's members time and money, which can be invested back in their local areas.”

The company was established in 1976 by Fred and Barbara Finley and employs more than 80 people.
