Buttle’s strengthens its team

Published:  04 June, 2012

ST ALBANS: Buttle plc has made two new appointments - Jackie Barnes has recently joined in the role of financial controller, and Dave Carter is joining as product manager.

Ms Barnes has a background with a national distributor in the electrical wholesale trade, a group of garden centres and automotive parts distributors, all relevant experience for this growing builders’ merchant. She will be part of the senior management team, reporting to Kevin Middleton, joint managing director. The accounts and IT teams will all report to Ms Barnes with immediate effect.

Mr Carter, formerly commercial manager at Gibbs & Dandy will be responsible for procurement, product and price management and will also be the main Buttle’s contact at h&b Group.

Further strengthening of the team has been made at Leighton Buzzard branch where Neil Williams will take on the branch manager role. At St Albans, Kevin Scott will become area sales manager.

Kevin Middleton joined Buttle’s earlier this year and has been working with Peter Buttle to build the teams that will take Buttle’s forward in the coming years.
