WOLVERHAMPTON: IB Construction has secured a £1.1m contract to build a new Hungry Horse pub (part of the Greene King chain), on Stafford Road in Wolverhampton.

The development, built on the site of the old Goodyear head quarters, will be their first project within the city boundaries for a number of years.

Tim Lewis, contracts manager said: “We are very proud to be working on such a prestigious site and welcome the opportunity to use local labour on a local project.”

Work began at the end of May with completion scheduled for the end of the year. The development will be IB Construction’s second new-build pub for Greene King.
