Altin Homes downsizes

HALER: Developer Altin Homes has bought five sites in Greater Manchester where it plans to build 'modestly-proportioned' houses compared with its usual multi-million pound schemes.

Altin will market the 37 new family-size houses under the 'Altin Bijou' brand. The sites are in Altrincham, Timperley, Whitefield and two in Hale.

Managing director Mohammad Khoy said the company would continue to develop larger properties, with two schemes in development – for an 8000sq ft house in Chelford, Cheshire, and a 6500sq ft home in Hale.
