New specification development manager for Assa Abloy

NORTH WEST: Martin Lees has been appointed to the position of specification development manager for Assa Abloy UK’s Security Solutions division.

Tasked with developing its presence and service for the North West region, Mr Lees joins Assa Abloy Security Solutions from Hafele, where he spent nine years, six of those in a specification role.

His industry experience includes work with trade and contractor customers making him well placed to integrate and grow the Security Solutions portfolio in his region. In addition, Mr Lees has also received a GAI Bronze Medal in 2008 and holds a BA Honours Degree in Business Management, IT and Leisure.

Speaking on his new role at Assa Abloy Security Solutions, Mr Lees said: “Through my previous role at Hafele I dealt with Assa Abloy many times and have always been impressed by its commitment to the latest industry standards and ability to provide full specification solutions.

“My cross channel experience will be vital in developing relationships with customers and making them aware of the vast range of products and systems we offer, as well as the additional assistance and advantages of working with a global leader, such as access to our training academy and RIBA-approved CPD seminars.”
