Vandals attack Jewson

Published:  10 August, 2009

EXMOUTH: Jewson in Lower Fore Street is the latest business to be targeted by gangs.

Vandals damaged business premises in Exeter Road by scratching the initials 'NKS' onto six shop windows. Exmouth police are appealing for witnesses to the attacks, which took place overnight on Tuesday 4 August.

This latest spate of damage over the past two weeks has seen nine shops' windows carved with the same initials. The attacks have prompted retailers to call for the installation of CCTV cameras on the road to combat further vandalism.
