PTS: affordable, quality training.

PTS/PPL partnership provides nationwide training support

Published:  01 March, 2012

LUTTERWORTH: PTS has teamed up with PPL, one of the largest specialised renewable energy training providers in the UK, to continue its work in making high quality, affordable courses accessible to all.

Available to PTS customers through its nationwide network of branches, PPL is offering a range of plumbing, heating and renewables courses at its 11 UK training centres.

To make life easier for installers, single day courses are also available at customer premises or at any PTS trade counter. The leading merchant is urging interested installers to talk to their local branch manager to find out the best option to suit their needs.

"Learning new skills or staying up-to-date on product developments is a good way to stay one step ahead of the competition." said Ian Church, PTS' managing director.

"PPL is a leader in its field, so we are proud to partner with them to offer our customers access to their training courses. There are a range of introductory courses that are ideal for apprentices in addition to more comprehensive renewable energy specific programmes, meaning there is something for everyone."

With a variety of courses to suit any level of experience, PTS and PPL can support installers in gaining qualifications that will result in a wider service offering for homeowners.

"Investing in the right training will ensure that the plumbing and heating industry is not left with a skills gap in the renewables sector. We are confident that PPL is the right training provider for our customers and look forward to hearing their feedback on the courses scheduled for this year."
