Wood for Good’s Online Learning, also known as the Timber Academy, has built up a big following over the five years since its launch, with thousands of professionals signed up for its RIBA-accredited CPD courses, as well as a number of major companies and trade distributors. Current users will be notified of the change of address and of the need to re-register at Wood Campus, but they will be able to keep their existing username and CPD history, so they can start again where they left off. New users can register free at www.woodcampus.co.uk
John Kissock, chairman of Wood for Good, welcomed the new Wood Campus: “I’m delighted that Swedish Wood, the timber industry and the major trade distributors have worked together to keep Wood for Good’s online learning up to date and to provide this useful information for the trade. Education and information are essential in our efforts to make wood the first choice for architects and builders, and to help us build a low-carbon future.”
Andy Moseley, market director for Timber & LBM at Jewson commented “The new online learning material now available from Wood Campus will be an invaluable tool for all professionals in the industry who work with wood. We welcomed the opportunity to work with Wood Campus and to feature their e-learning modules on our Greenworks Gateway."
Stephen Thompstone, managing director of Buildbase commented: “Over the past four years, online learning has become a key route for our staff to develop their product and technical knowledge. The addition of the Wood Campus content takes us to a higher level for timber training. We will definitely be taking advantage of these new resources.”
