The client is one of the UK’s leading specialist distributors of Building Materials who is embarking on a major expansion of their Procurement Division due to continued success.

The client is regarded as being a market leader in its sector with operations throughout the UK, and is led by a highly regarded management team.

Due to continued success our client is seeking to recruit a professional Procurement Manager to join its already successful team at its South Midlands operation with a responsibility for the Group Procurement of Heavyside Building Products.

Candidate

The successful candidate must be able to show a good aptitude along with drive, ambition, the ability to work calmly and methodically under pressure, the ability to ensure customers requirements are fulfilled and be willing to ‘go the extra mile’ to build up relationships with suppliers and colleagues.

Ideally you will have experience in the procurement of heavyside building products (bricks, blocks, lintels, drainage, civils etc.) in a Builders' Merchants or specialist distributor operation or have transferable skills suitable for this vacancy.

Package

Salary Up to £45k basic salary + benefits which includes executive benefit package
