Ocon Construction wins £5.3m Birmingham contract

BIRMINGHAM: Student accommodation specialist Ocon Construction, part of the Opal Property Group, has won a £5.3m project to build four blocks at Birmingham University's Edgbaston campus.

The scheme will see Manchester-based Ocon construct 140 flats in clusters of four and five bedrooms in time for the next academic year. The campus already has 30 blocks.
