A&G wins H&B supplier contract

Published:  16 January, 2012

BIRMINGHAM: Acheson & Glover (A&G), supplier of premium quality hard landscaping, has become approved supplier of hard landscaping products to all members of the H&B independent merchant buying group.

Since winning the contract, A&G has embarked on an actively targeted marketing campaign to inform H&B members about their product and service offer and the benefits of working with A&G.

Commercial Director Stuart Cook says: “We are extremely pleased to have been given the opportunity to trade with members of H&B and for them, it’s a chance to try a new supplier that offers the products customers want, the margins merchants need and a uniquely straight talking, personal approach to business. Our mantra ‘making it personal’ reflects our merchant friendly attitude. We are committed to helping merchants sell more, and make better margins from hard landscaping sales. We understand that today’s merchants need to go that extra mile to engage their customers and sell.

“Since introducing our innovative range and new ideas to builders’ merchants in Great Britain we have seen our sales rise significantly as merchants recognise the benefits of our unique product range, innovative Outside Rooms concept and flexible, friendly service”, continues Stuart. “Winning this contract is recognition of our hard work and the ability to demonstrate our dedication to independent merchants. With a new stock point in Blackburn and a strong sales team covering the mainland, we look forward to building strong and long term relationships with H&B members.”
