STOCKPORT: Refurbishment and maintenance specialist FT Finley has been appointed to three council frameworks, including two in the northwest. Finley has been selected by Manchester city council to its framework to supply and install equipment and make adaptations to properties to help residents live independently.

The council has anticipated spending £3m annually through the framework, which will last around three years. Preston city council has appointed FT to its framework to supply and install alley gating, a project estimated to cost around £400,000, and the firm has been confirmed as one of eight suppliers appointed to Shropshire council's 12-month construction contractor framework to carry out major electrical projects in the north of its catchment area.
