Bence wins marketing accolade

GLOUCESTER: George Bence & Sons of Cheltenham is celebrating with another win at the Builders' Merchants Awards for Excellence, this year scooping the Best Marketing Initiative at the industry's annual ceremony at the Lancaster, London.

Managing director Paul Bence, commented: "The company's successes at these awards means a lot to us."

The merchant's other recent accolades include Best Customer Service, Best Showroom, and Best Apprentice. George Bence & Sons was also a finalist in the the Showroom category.

"It really is a fantastic achievement for a regional business like ourselves to score so highly in the national awards against such a high standard of entrants. The company has always competed well on a local basis which has added much value to our marketing campaigns, and to be recognised at a national level is testament to the dynamic and hard working set of employees we have.
