Double award cements Lafarge's position as marketing champ

LONDON: Building materials manufacturer, Lafarge Cement, has scooped two marketing awards within days of one another. 

The company won the 'Best Brand Campaign' prize at the B2B Marketing Awards on 24 November for its campaign surrounding the revitalisation of the Mastercrete cement brand through the move from paper to plastic packaging.

Hot on the heels of this win, Lafarge Cement scooped the award for Best In House Marketing Team at the Construction Marketing Awards (CMAs) held in central London last week.

Praised by the judges for its success in meeting specific business objectives and consistent high performance, Lafarge Cement was also shortlisted for seven awards across six categories including Best Use of Strategic Marketing for Cemergi's 'Fact' campaign and Best Use of Website for Mastercrete's 'Big Boys Toys' promotional campaign.
