Housing scheme for London gas works site approved

LONDON: Plans to build more than 1000 homes on an old north London gas works site have been given the go ahead by the London Borough of Haringey.

It has granted outline-planning consent to the National Grid Property and London Development Agency's Clarendon Square scheme in Hornsey.

London Development Agency has yet to appoint a developer to handle the project.
