AYLESBURY: Aylesbury Vale District Council's planning authority has approved the application to build a £150m milk plant, which is also expected to lead to 1000 construction jobs.

Laing O'Rourke is the preferred contractor for the huge plant and is expected to start construction work shortly so the plant can be finished by the end of next year, reports Construction Enquirer web site.

The plant will be built on a 70-acre site at Aston Clinton.
