DIY store in Worksop damaged by suspicious fire

WORKSOP: An investigation has started after a suspicious fire damaged a Wickes store in Workshop. More than 20 firemen were called to the store after a fire started in two sheds on the premises on Saturday night.

A Nottinghamshire Fire and Rescue Service spokesman said the blaze at the store in Babbage Way could have been started deliberately. The fire spread to the main building which was severely damaged by smoke.
