Plumb Center opens new online superstore

LEAMINGTON SPA: Plumb Center's new website allows installers to check the current stock availability for 40 000 product lines 24/7, with over 20 000 products available next day.

Installers can also click and collect in branch or arrange delivery direct to site and take advantage of free delivery on online orders worth over £100. This introductory offer is valid until 31 October 2011.

Installers are able to register their trade account and see their own exclusive terms from their local branch, so they can rest assured they are still getting the best possible deal. And, they can set up job lists, repeat orders and view their invoice/credit history.

The website also has a wide range of useful information. This includes product information, videos, details about training courses and accreditations, updates on regulations and legislation and industry events and updates. Visitors can also download or order brochures and guides.

In order to ensure the website provides installers with what they need to make their job easier, Plumb Center asked customers for their input, using their feedback to tailor-make the site.

Alan Stevenson, trading director, Plumb Center said "Over the last year we have been working hard to design a new website which will make it easier for our customers to do business with us. Along with thousands of our customers, hundreds of staff have contributed to this process, for which we say a very big 'Thank you'.

"The new website is unique within our industry. As well as all the usual features that you would expect, the website offers customer specific pricing and local branch product availability, services and information that none of our competitors currently provide."
