Lucky Mark to enjoy driver day experience

Published:  15 August, 2011

NORTHAMPTON: Mark Leggatt, sales director at Martin & Partners, an independent plumbers’ merchant, is the lucky winner of an Aston Martin Driver Day, after entering a free prize draw run by CME, a Wirquin Group company.

CME had organised the competition as an incentive to its merchant customers to complete a research questionnaire, with all completed entries going into the free prize draw for the exciting driver day prize.

Louise Richens, area sales manager – Midlands for CME, a Wirquin Group company, explains: “We are always looking for ways to enhance our service to merchants and wrote to our NMBS customers following their trade exhibition in May, enclosing a research questionnaire. We had a really good response and we were delighted that Mark was the lucky winner. We hope he has a fantastic time on his driver’s day!”

Martin & Partners, a family business established in 1935, has been selling Macdee and Celmac products from CME’s extensive product range for many years and has recently added a range of new Wirquin Pro products, following the acquisition of CME by the Wirquin Group.

Mark Leggatt, sales director at Martin & Partners, said: “I’d completely forgotten that I’d entered the competition, so it was a fantastic surprise when I found out I’d won! I’m really looking forward to it, I’m a serious car fanatic as I used to work in the motor industry, but I’ve never had the privilege of driving an Aston Martin before!”
