Kier and Morrison scoop £33m Ealing housing deal

LONDON: Two building contractors, Kier and Morrison, have secured deals to carry out housing repairs in Ealing, West London.

The companies secured the work with bids of just over £16m, bringing the framework in well below the council's £45m initial top estimate.

The council has divided its responsive repairs work covering a total of 18 000 homes into west and east regions.

The two five-year deals will involve responsive maintenance and repairs of council housing estates with some planned maintenance.
