Kent Blaxill appoints new landscape manager

Published:  21 July, 2011

COLCHESTER: Grant Myers has been appointed as the new landscape manager at the main Colchester branch of East Anglian buildings supplies company Kent Blaxill, where he is heading up a burgeoning four-man department.

Mr Myers, who lives in Colchester, has been with the company for 10 years, most recently as sales office supervisor.

“Business was booming this spring,” said Mr Myers. “We have opened the new shop, and I am arranging to have more displays, in particular of furniture and fencing. We will generally be looking to raise the profile of the department.

“Later in the year we are also planning to move into plants and bushes. Garden furniture, in particular, has been selling very well this year with top of the range Barlow Tyrie and Bramble Crest lines in strong demand,” said Mr Myers.
