Five share £62m London housing deal

LONDON: Catalyst Housing Association has selected five firms to carry out housing maintenance work on its stock in the London area.

Morrisons Facilities Services, Stapletech, East West Electric, Chas Berger & Sons and DW Contractors: share the £62m programme. It is split between the firms in four specialist packages and covers responsive repairs, electrical work and external fabric repairs and maintenance.

All specialist contracts will run for five years with the option to extend to 10 years.

The splits is: Morrisons Facilities Services for responsive repairs (£11.1m), Stapletech for heating installations (£12.5m), East West Electric for electrical, CCTV and door entry systems (£15.3m), Chas Berger & Sons (£11.8m) and DW Contractors, both for external repairs (£10.9m).
