Northway cycles for CHAS

Published:  24 June, 2011

SCOTLAND: On 29 May 2011 while the UK was watching the Royal Wedding Mark
Northway, financial director of Beatsons Building Supplies, cycled over 111 miles around all four of the company's depots in one day to raise money for the Children’s Hospice Association Scotland (CHAS).

The depots are based in Alloa, Cumbernauld, Dunfermline and Penicuik and Mr Northway's efforts raised £3000 for the hospice.

“We are delighted to support the excellent work that CHAS does my efforts on the cycle pale into insignificance when you see the work and commitment that the volunteers and staff at CHAS do on a daily basis,” Mr Northway said.
