Barratt to build 128m Arsenal housing project

Published:  23 June, 2011

LONDON: Barratt Developments is to build 375 new homes near the Arsenal football stadium in north London.

The housing scheme will consist of three residential towers, estimated to cost around 60m to build, and completes a nine-year 390m regeneration of the site around the Emirates Stadium.

Barratt said it will start on site in January next year, in joint venture with social housing partner L&Q, which will share profits despite there being no social housing element on the scheme. The end value of the development is estimated at 128m.
