Barratt to build £128m Arsenal housing project

LONDON: Barratt Developments is to build 375 new homes near the Arsenal football stadium in north London.

The housing scheme will consist of three residential towers, estimated to cost around £60m to build, and completes a nine-year £390m regeneration of the site around the Emirates Stadium.

Barratt said it will start on site in January next year, in joint venture with social housing partner L&Q, which will share profits despite there being no social housing element on the scheme. The end value of the development is estimated at £128m.
