Firebird adds to training facilities

Published:  22 June, 2011

IVYBRIDGE: Firebird Oil Boilers has expanded its training facilities with the addition of a dedicated demonstration vehicle.

“The introduction of our purpose designed demonstration vehicle in the middle of last year has been a resounding success” says national manager Barry Brynildsen. “It has really shown that oil boiler installers have a big appetite for training to keep them up to date with the latest technical developments and industry best practice.”

The tour continues and over the next 2-3 months will be covering virtually the whole of mainland UK. Full details of its itinerary can be found on Firebird’s web site www.firebird.co.uk.

The demonstration vehicle is just part of a much increased package of training facilities currently under development. These will include the establishment of a national network of regional training centres in conjunction with independent training centres to provide excellent training at locations convenient to all installers and to minimise the time required 'off the job'.

The centres will offer a new programme of hands-on technical courses as well as specific product training and will feature working boilers where faults can be introduced for installers to diagnose and correct.
