Henry Boot to build Manchester court scheme

Published:  07 June, 2011

MANCHESTER: Henry Boot's development arm has planning approval to redevelop the former County Court Buildings on Deansgate in Manchester city centre.

This Grade II-listed building will be converted into The Courthouse, comprising office, retail and leisure space. Adam Brady, head of Henry Boot Developments' Manchester office, said: "Built over 100 years ago, we are determined to maintain as many of the original features of the old building as possible, while providing occupiers with modern, high quality space for their business.

"Unlike many developers in the current market, we are in the fortunate position of being self-funded and therefore do not need to rely on external sources of finance to progress the scheme," he said.
