NEW YORK: Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics has launched a multi-lingual YouTube Channel to showcase the proper application of the company’s Green Glue Noiseproofing products.
The new channel provides a resource for builders, home renovators, and the DIY community to view instructional videos on how to get the most out of Green Glue technology. These videos demonstrate the correct product application at each step of the process, reducing the time needed to be spent on the job.
“Visually showcasing the applications of The Green Glue Noiseproofing System helps end users better understand how to utilize the products efficiently and effectively,” says Steve Jette, Marketing Manager, Composites, Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics. “Each video walks the viewer through the process of applying our technologies to achieve the most effective noise dampening in a wall or room.”
The Green Glue Noiseproofing System consists of four components: Green Glue Noiseproofing Compound, Sealant, Clips and Joist Tape. When these technologies are incorporated systematically into a home, they substantially reduce noise transmission between rooms, improving quality of life.
The YouTube Channel currently features demonstrations on how to effectively apply the Noiseproofing Compound – the company’s flagship product – and Noiseproofing Clips, with future videos to focus on the Sealant and Joist Tape. In order to appeal to viewers whose first language may not be English, each video is also available in Spanish, with French versions currently in development.
“We have often received requests for visual demonstrations of how to use the Green Glue System – and not just in English – which was the primary motivation for launching the YouTube Channel at this time,” says Adam Burnett, Business Development Manager. “We’ve received an overwhelmingly positive response so far – along with a lot of requests for more demonstrations – so we will be filming and uploading additional videos in the coming months.”
